Terms of Use
Using Cambium
Cambium is provided by MaskedSyntax to help identify plants and organize plant-care information. By using Cambium, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must use the service lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or misuse it.
Image-based results
Plant identifications, health scores, diagnoses, treatment suggestions, toxicity details, and recovery estimates are generated from images and may be incomplete or incorrect. Similar symptoms can have different causes. Cambium is informational and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified horticulturist, veterinarian, poison-control service, medical professional, or local pesticide authority. Follow product labels and local laws, and seek professional help when safety is uncertain.
Accounts and saved data
An account is optional. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to the Apple or Google account used to sign in. You can export your local data from Profile → Export my data, and request deletion of your account from our account deletion page.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to the terms of the applicable store. An annual subscription renews automatically unless canceled through your store account before renewal. A Founder's Lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks the Cambium Plus functionality offered with that product; it does not promise every future product or service. Prices and any trial terms are shown by the store before confirmation. Refunds are handled under the applicable store policy.
Availability and changes
We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue parts of Cambium. Online analysis and synchronization require compatible devices, network access, and third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every plant can be identified.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cambium is provided “as is” and without warranties of accuracy, fitness, or uninterrupted operation. MaskedSyntax is not liable for indirect or consequential loss resulting from reliance on an image-based result. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
